I am yet to set up a bank account to receive donations. Until I have this in place, please donate using the GoFundMe link
This is fairly self explanatory, but in case you weren’t aware, there is a massive amount of pollution/ junk/ litter (whatever you want to call it) in the oceans of this world. This consists of plastic, cans, nets etc. The environment has become somewhat inhabitable for its residents and is killing a lot of them off. So, seen as we humans are responsible for creating this rubbish in our factories and then putting in the oceans (or being lazy and not using a bin), I know that it is our responsibility to clean this up and to fix it.
I can’t stand it when people turn around and say, “That has nothing to do with me”, or “I’m not fixing that, I didn’t do it”
Look, I didn’t murder a bunch of lions, or starve a bunch of children. I didn’t kick people onto the streets, but I’m making it my responsibility to do something about it because it’s the right thing to do. I haven’t caused any of these things but I still want to fix it, and you should want to fix it too. Whether you have had a role to play in the problems of this world or not. This is everyone’s responsibility and we all need to deal with it. There is no reason as to why our litter has to kill any animals and pollute oceans. These animals have done nothing to us but we’re putting them through misery right now.
All donations sent to help in the efforts of cleaning the oceans will again be notified of how much litter they had a hand in removing and from which ocean. I will try and obtain images of the actual litter collected, if only to put things into perspective.
